Flinders Island Fly-Drive – 6 days

If you’re ready to get away from it all and experience a very different Aussie island escape – this is the trip for you!

North-east of Tasmania in Bass Strait is where you will find Flinders Island, the largest of the Furneaux Group. It’s rugged, spectacularly wild, unspoilt and unique.

Your time on Flinders will be free to explore at your leisure. The island offers year-round activities, like bush walking, fishing and bird watching. There are miles of beach to wander and lucky fossickers could even find special treasures in the sand, like beautiful sea shells and precious gems.

We’ve included the easy 1-hour flight from Melbourne and when you touch down a hire car will be waiting, so that you can see, do and enjoy even more of this amazing island!

How to Book

You can also select a trip and request it via this website – please make sure you enter the quantity for the number of people travelling. In the ‘Additional Information’ field on the Checkout page, add your preferred departure date plus any other information that will help us process your booking, such as departure city and travel preferences.

No payment is required to submit an online booking request, but your booking is pending and no place is being held. Your booking status will be advised when you hear from our travel consultants. Bookings are normally actioned within 24 hours – Monday to Friday.
