Travelling 4352 kilometres from Sydney to Adelaide and across the expansive Nullarbor Plain to Perth, you will be treated to a visual feast as you leave behind the city lights for the rolling hills and patchwork landscape of the desert. Day 1: Sydney
Welcome to spectacular Sydney. Please catch a taxi to your accommodation for the next four nights. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the harbour city at your own pace. Sydney, capital of New South Wales and one of Australia's largest cities, is best known for its harbourfront Sydney Opera House, with a distinctive sail-like design. Massive Darling Harbour and the smaller Circular Quay port are hubs of waterside life, with the arched Harbour Bridge and esteemed Royal Botanic Garden nearby. Sydney Tower’s outdoor platform, the Skywalk, offers 360-degree views of the city and suburbs.

Day 2: Sydney Hop on Hop off Bus
Discover the streets of Sydney and the sandy shores of Bondi Beach as you cruise around town on an open-air, double-decker bus. Experience all the excitement of Australia's famous harbour city, hopping on and off at more than 30 stops near great attractions. Snag a seat on an open-top double-decker bus for a ride between Sydney's waterfront attractions. With 2 routes and more than 30 stops, this is a convenient way to make sure you don't miss a thing as you tour around town. When you want a closer look, step off the bus for a while to hang out, and then catch the next one when you're ready to move on. Plan out your own itinerary and visit the landmarks that interested you most, whether you want to dig your toes into the sand at Bondi, soak up the history of The Rocks, or take a stroll around Darling Harbour.

Day 3: Sydney Aquarium
Spend the day exploring Sydney Aquarium and you will be astounded by the diversity of Australia's aquatic environments. At Australia's largest Aquarium, the variety of aquatic life will astound you. With over 650 species, nowhere else in the world will you find a larger collection of Australian aquatic life. There is a massive display on the Great Barrier Reef featuring living coral and brilliantly coloured tropical fish. Glass tunnels let you walk the sea floor and you can get hands-on experience at several touch pools. Nowhere else will you find a more extensive collection of Australian aquatic life, with over 11,500 animals and the largest Great Barrier Reef exhibit in the world.

Day 4: Harbour Cruise
This cruise to the upper reaches of Sydney harbour takes place on board a sleek, modern motor cruiser and it shows you what public and private Sydney are really all about. It covers the Main Harbour attractions such as the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge and Fort Denison, and waterfront homes, parks, beaches and marinas that show Sydney life at its best. The cruise includes a light morning or afternoon tea to enjoy while you are on the water.

Day 5: Blue Mountains
Discover the spectacular Blue Mountains and see native wildlife whilst you explore World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park. This rugged and beautiful region forms part of the Great Dividing Range, linking tropical north to temperate south, while dividing coastal cities from the vast Outback. Enjoy a stop at Echo Point and see the famous Three Sisters rock formation and have an opportunity to visit the Waradah Aboriginal Centre and hear the ancient Aboriginal legends of this impressive rock formation (own expense). Arrive at Scenic World and join the optional Blue Mountain rides – Scenic Railway, Cableway or Skyway. These rides are a great way to see the steep valleys, canyons and Three Sisters rock formation. Discover Leura village where you will have free time for lunch or the chance to wander the streets. Next we enjoy an afternoon encounter at Featherdale Park and have your photo taken with a cuddly koala, see kangaroos, wombats, dingoes and cute little fairy penguins. Our last stop will be at Homebush Bay, the venue of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Here, you have the option to catch your river cruise vessel back to Sydney and enjoy a relaxing cruise along the Parramatta River. If you do not wish to join the ferry, the coach will arrive in Sydney at approximately 5.45pm. Hotel drop offs to most city hotels are available; your driver guide will ask you at the end of the day where you would like to be dropped off.

Day 06: Indian Pacific from Sydney to Perth
Please catch a taxi to the Indian Pacific railway station to begin your journey to Adelaide. Embark on the legendary Indian Pacific as you travel from the harbour city of Sydney to Adelaide, the 'City of Churches'. Marvel at the beauty passing by your cabin window, the magnificent Blue Mountains, rural countryside, tough mallee scrub home to the outback town of Broken Hill and onto the fertile green surrounds of beautiful Adelaide.

DAY 7 & 8 Adelaide to Perth
On arrival in Adelaide, you can relax and use the next 5 hours to explore the city and stroll around the neighbourhoods of central Adelaide. This evening, say goodbye to beautiful Adelaide. Your epic journey from Adelaide to Perth takes you along the longest stretch of straight railway track in the world. It's a journey of contrast encompassing some of Australia's most beautiful and diverse landscapes including the vast empty expanse of the Nullarbor Plain and the goldfields of Kalgoorlie.

DAY 9 Arrive Perth
As the Indian Pacific arrives into Perth on day 9, you can sense the laid-back pace of this beautiful city fringed between the Indian Ocean and Swan River. You will be transferred from the railway station on arrival in Perth to your hotel. You can relax and use the rest of the day to explore your hotel and its facilities, perhaps take a stroll around the neighbourhood and central Perth. Perth, capital of Western Australia, sits where the Swan River meets the southwest coast. Sandy beaches line its suburbs, and the huge, riverside Kings Park and Botanic Garden on Mount Eliza offer sweeping views of the city. The Perth Cultural Centre houses the state ballet and opera companies, and occupies its own central precinct, including a theatre, library and the Art Gallery of Western Australia.

Day 10: Perth & Fremantle Coach Tour
A fantastic half day tour taking in Perth and Fremantle giving you a great insight into the city and the alfresco lifestyle Perth people enjoy. Begin your day at the lovely Kings Park botanical gardens. Whilst here you will have time to walk through the tree's canopies on the Tree Top walkway. Afterwards continue to Cottesloe Beach, one of Perth's best beaches before arriving at the historic town of Fremantle. Time is allowed here for you to walk down the main street enjoy a cafe (own expense) or perhaps find a bargain at the markets. Part with group here if you wish to explore other famous attractions (own expense). Alternatively join back with the coach and return to Perth by road travelling past Perth's most exclusive suburbs, the university of WA, Royal Perth Yacht Club, the Old Swan Brewery, Barrack Street Jetty and the famous Bell Tower.

Day 11: Margaret River Day Tour
Venture out of the city for a delightful day discovering the small-town charm and fine wines of the Margaret River region. On this relaxing tour, soak up Western Australia's quaint landscapes, stop for delectable tastings, and round out your excursion with a visit to the famous Busselton Jetty.
After pick-up in Perth, set out for a beautiful drive to the picturesque town of Busselton. Once you arrive, stop to scope out the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, which was officially closed in 1972 and now attracts a constant stream of visitors. As you continue your journey south. After a stop to taste the delicious offerings of the renowned Yahava KoffeeWorks, soak up the town's laid-back vibe over a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy time for souvenir shopping among the area's diverse boutiques before heading to the Margaret River Chocolate Factory to indulge your sweet tooth. Check out chocolate-making demonstrations, and nibble on samples of the factory's latest decadent confections. For your final delicious stop, cruise down vineyard-lined roads to visit a local winery. Amidst sips of fine sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon, and other varietals, learn about the conditions that make the Margaret River region so ideal for producing wine. Following your delicious tasting, wrap up your relaxing day with the scenic drive back to Perth.

Day 12: Rottnest Island
Enjoy a one-hour cruise down the Swan River to the seaside port of Fremantle before embarking on a 30-minute cruise out to Rottnest. This beautiful island boasts some of the finest beaches and bays in the world, together with a unique style of architecture dating back to the 1800's. On arrival you will have a guided introduction walk to explore this settlement. After your guided walk, explore the beauty and tranquillity of Rottnest as you relax in the comfort of an air-conditioned coach. This tour includes historical, cultural and natural points of interest. A delicious luncheon is included, overlooking beautiful Thomson Bay. After lunch, you'll have free time to relax on the beach before reboarding the ferry for your journey back to Perth. Lunch Included

Day 13: Depart Perth
Your tour comes to an end in the morning as you catch a taxi to the airport for flights home.
