Itinerary

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Sydney
Welcome to spectacular Sydney. Please catch a taxi to your hotel for the next three nights. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city at your own pace.

Days 2-3: Sydney
Sydney, capital of New South Wales and one of Australia's largest cities, is best known for its harbourfront Sydney Opera House, with a distinctive sail-like design. Massive Darling Harbour and the smaller Circular Quay port are hubs of waterside life, with the arched Harbour Bridge and esteemed Royal Botanic Garden nearby.

Day 04: Indian Pacific from Sydney to Adelaide.
Please catch a taxi to the Indian Pacific railway station to begin your journey to Adelaide.
Embark on the legendary Indian Pacific as you travel from the harbour city of Sydney to the 'City of Churches' Adelaide, marvel at the beauty passing by your cabin window, the magnificent Blue Mountains, rural countryside, tough mallee scrub home to the outback town of Broken Hill and onto the fertile green surrounds of beautiful Adelaide.

Day 5: Arrive Adelaide.
As you pull into Adelaide and disembark, please catch a taxi to your hotel for the next three nights. The remainder of the day is free to explore Adelaide at leisure. Cultured and cosmopolitan, South Australia's capital city is framed by parkland and filled with striking modern and Old World architecture. Add world-class food and wine to a buzzing arts scene, and it's easy to see why Adelaide is consistently ranked amongst the most liveable cities in the world.

Days 6-7: Adelaide
Your time is free to explore this coastal capital. Choose to wander down the North Terrace cultural boulevard, passing by stately institutions like the State Library of South Australia, the Art Gallery of South Australia, and the University of Adelaide. Visit the National Wine Centre, built to resemble a section of a wine barrel, and admire the verdant expanse of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens and the Bicentennial Conservatory behind it. Admire the Gothic Revival façade of St Peter's Cathedral, with its ornate rose window and soaring, gargoyle-adorned towers. However you choose to explore Adelaide and the surrounding regions, you’re bound to be enthralled by the many delights of South Australia.

Day 8: Depart Adelaide.
Your journey comes to an end in the morning as you catch a taxi to the airport for flights home.
