Enjoy the fun of exploring Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney at your own pace, with the thrill of travelling between the great cities by train. There is nothing quite like travelling by rail, and this trip has you doing it in style.

The Overland operates a day-long service between Melbourne and Adelaide. Onboard, you’ll experience the comfort of Red Premium with meals included as you watch the diverse landscapes outside your window, from rugged Mallee scrub to fields of green and gold.

The Indian Pacific majestically travels between Adelaide and Sydney and you get to enjoy the luxury of a fully-inclusive Gold Class Sleeper Cabin for the 2-day journey. To complete the tri-state circle, take your First Class Seat on the XPT Train from Sydney to Melbourne.

In Melbourne, your base will the central Victoria Hotel in the heart of the city. Adelaide for 4 nights at Riviera Hotel gives you time to explore the great city and in Sydney the YEHS Hotel is ideally located at QVB for shopping, dining out and the harbour city’s must-see sights.

You can also select a trip and request it via this website – please make sure you enter the quantity for the number of people travelling. In the ‘Additional Information’ field on the Checkout page, add your preferred departure date plus any other information that will help us process your booking, such as departure city and travel preferences.

No payment is required to submit an online booking request, but your booking is pending and no place is being held. Your booking status will be advised when you hear from our travel consultants. Bookings are normally actioned within 24 hours – Monday to Friday.
